Jeff Smolley
Managing Director
Jeff is the founder and managing director of 713 Consulting. He brings more than 20 years of IT experience including applications administration, business analysis, project management, QMS management, audit support and defining IT strategy with solutions driven from the business. With a focus on the life sciences and bio medical sectors, Jeff and his team have a deep understanding of the industry’s complex regulations and know how to build and maintain systems and infrastructure to meet these high standards. Additional capabilities include: supporting CSV, change management, document authoring, CAPA management, risk assessments, and data integrity.
Via a partnership with a large US-based data center, Jeff is helping to grow the IT hosting environment by providing clients with options towards more scalability and greater resiliency to their infrastructure. The hosting framework supports Cloud, Validated Cloud for Life Sciences/Healthcare companies, Hybrid Cloud, Colocation, and Disaster Recovery environments.

We offer customized solutions that meet the complex needs of life sciences companies. We have a complete Audit Ready Compliant BioCloud for Life Sciences Biotech and healthcare companies. This solution includes all compliance and validation needs for companies at the infrastructure level who are under FDA regulations or need to follow HIPAA guidelines.
For each client who subscribes to our BioCloud hosting environment we create a System Configuration Specification, a Risk Assessment or a HIPAA Qualification Pack, Trace Matrix, Installation Qualification and a Validation Summary Report that both parties agree to before validation is complete. Once it is validated, the system then enters our Change Control program. The whole environment is supported by our Quality Management System.
